I''m a divorced chap, seeking the company of a lady with similar interest as myself. I''m told by my friends that I look young, and am energetic for my age, and also have good sense of humour. I enjoy gardening, I grow my own vegetables etc. I also have a fairly large apple orchard from which a make cider in the autumn, something I''ve been doing for 25 or so years. I love living in the country and am interested in Green Issues, and Natural History of all sorts. Used to have dog but without one at the moment but it seems I''ve been adopted by my daughter''s dogs who live next door. I walk a lot, on the South Down and locally, and also enjoy cycling, it would be lovely to find someone to ride with. I''m active and fairly fit and until recently used to enjoy fishing and hill walking holidays in the North of Scotland with friends. My musical tastes are quite eclectic, classical, jazz and folk. I read a lot, history, biography, fiction etc.
I''m looking for someone with whom I can share my interests, who is possibly artistic, somewhere between the age of 60 and 75 but nothing ruled out, it depends on the individual. The lady I''m looking for needs to have a good sense humour as well as a liking for the outdoors. Looks are not too important, it depends more on personality. It would be nice to find someone who lives fairly near to me, but it depends on the circumstances. The type of relationship I''m looking for is not fixed, I''m open to all ideas, but it would be nice to have a romantic one that''s long term, so if there is anyone out there, please get in touch. If anything rings a bell with you, please contact me. John.
